AT SAF-GARD® OUR NUMBER ONE PRIORITY IS KEEPING TEAM MEMBERS SAFE ON THE JOB.

We get this done best by keeping a service mindset. It’s all a part of our family-first culture, which is exactly what you get when you’re family-owned and operated for more than 40 years. It allows us to see each customer as a person, not a number, with a unique situation and unique needs. Awareness of that reality helps us more effectively meet their needs over the long haul. That’s entirely different than aiming for the next quick sale. As a result, we continually see huge drops in injury rates among our safety shoe program customers, which means fewer workers’ comp claims and a much healthier bottom line.

We understand this stuff first-hand. In fact, not only have most of us worked in many of the industries we now serve, but we also continue to do some of the same jobs you’re doing. From our warehouse teams to our truck drivers, our employees need and use the same safety solutions we provide our customers. We do it because it works. 1. IN-HOUSE SERVICE ... ALWAYS. 

We never use call centers. Our dedicated in-house customer management team is located right here in our North Carolina headquarters, and they’re focused on getting you answers quickly. They average a 2-second wait time (following an 8-second welcome message) and resolve most issues within 5 minutes. Our team is made up of real humans (no robocalls or chatbots here) who know their stuff and care about making sure your needs are met. If you need help, they’ve got your back and can offer quick and specific solutions that work. And if they don’t have the answer right away, they’ll work until they do.

2. HANDS-ON OFFERINGS
Gearing up your team should be easy, and to make sure it is, we offer nationwide onsite fitting services (where our shoe experts come directly to your facility to help your team with sizing and orders), 75+ Mobile Shoe Stores and 35+ retail locations. The easier we make it for your employees to get their safety footwear, the more likely they’ll participate in the safety footwear program.

3. CUSTOMIZABLE CORPORATE PROGRAMS

Every team is different. That’s why we design our safety shoe programs around  your specific needs and for your specific work environment. You tell us what you’re looking for, and we’ll take care of the rest. Sometimes that means showing up with solutions you might not expect but that we know will save you in the long run. For example, lots of industries require safety toe boots, but there are other options out there that’ll give you that and then some. Working in construction? You should probably consider puncture-resistant boots or insoles. Need protection from falling objects? We’re going to recommend met-guard boots. We consider it our job to think ahead, make it easier for your employees to stay safe and help keep those claims down.

5. NO BS. WE'RE STRAIGHT SHOOTERS AROUND HERE.
